Course Description

 
This SharePoint Online Power User training courseware helps trainers and training companies teach advanced SharePoint Online features to experienced users. The course focuses on equipping learners with the knowledge to create, manage, and customize more complex SharePoint sites and features. It begins with Communication Sites, guiding learners through site creation, branding, and navigation enhancements like adding items to a mega menu. Practical exercises reinforce key concepts and allow learners to apply their skills.
 
In the lesson on Hub Sites, students learn how to configure and link sites within SharePoint Online to create a centralized hub for information and collaboration. Managed Metadata is explored in-depth, with lessons on creating term stores and managed metadata columns, and exercises to ensure learners can implement these concepts effectively.
 
The course also covers content management, including enabling and automating content approval processes using Power Automate. Additionally, the course dives into customizing forms with Power Apps, showing learners how to create and deploy custom forms for SharePoint lists.
 
Advanced document management topics include creating and managing Information Management Policies, configuring the Content Organizer to automatically route documents, and activating the Document ID Service for better document tracking. Students will also explore Document Sets, learning how to configure and leverage them for organizing related documents within SharePoint libraries.
