Microsoft originally developed on the .Net Framework as the Next Generation Windows Services in the late 1990’s. It wasn’t until the late 2000 that the first beta versions of .NET 1.0 were released. .Net is an integrated development environment to develop graphical user interface applications. It supports various languages such as visual C++, Visual basic, visual c#, and ASP, XML/XSLT, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript and CSS.
